In truth, some are actually meters apart yet some people still insist on taking the train from one to the other. In a similar way, you might find a certain arrangement equally as nonsensical. Why would someone relay information to you via someone else when it would have been infinitely easier to speak with you directly? Just smile and accept what appears ludicrous.
