Before we get into all the juicy details, I want to take a moment to explain how sexual astrology works.
We’ve already explored the basics of astrology: the ways you can use the stars to figure out whether or not you and your guy are compatible, how to communicate with your Capricorn man, how to surprise and delight him so he knows how special he is to you, and even how to get him back if things go awry (because we’re only human and shit happens).

Venus And Mars-Love And Passion
First off, Mars is a fiery planet that we associate with passion, virility, sexual drive, lust, and desire. Where Mars is located in your chart shows how you go about pursuing your passions and what really lights your fires, so to speak.
In Roman mythology, Mars was the Roman god of passion, lust, and war, so naturally, the sign placement of Mars in your chart tells a lot about your disposition for expressing fiery passion, your competitive side and in what ways you get out your aggression.

Venus is also linked to the Greek goddess Aphrodite, who possesses the same attributes as her Roman counterpart in Greek history.
When you get into the Greek and Roman backgrounds of astrology, you’ll find that there are many similarities between the different gods and goddesses that we connect with the modern astrological archetypes associated with each planet, asteroid, and zodiac sign.
According to Roman mythology, Mars and Venus shared a passionate, yet tumultuous, love affair, from which Eros, the god of erotic passion and love, was born-It’s all quite fitting, don't you think?

It is adorable, I know, and considering the fact that this couple has been married going on twelve years now, it does seem that his failed attempts at being flirty with the object of his affection weren’t a total failure after all!
Anyhow, the point I am making here is if you want to be with him but you are waiting for him to court you like other men, you run the risk of losing your shot with one of these amazing men. If you want to flirt, you will have to be the initiator (I would say that is accurate eight times out of ten)-just don’t get upset if he doesn’t reciprocate.
